Is there a catch?
It’s reasonable to ask if there’s a downside. Lucktastic funds its prizes largely through advertising, so you will encounter ads while using the app. That advertising revenue enables the app to offer cash rewards, gift cards, and sweepstakes to its users.
Additionally, sweepstakes and instant-win mechanics follow U.S. laws, so eligibility for certain prizes is limited to players located in the United States.
Overall, I find Lucktastic to be a low-risk, entertaining way to try to earn small amounts of extra cash or gift cards. Because the app is free to download and play, there’s no monetary risk to give it a try if you enjoy casual mobile games and don’t mind seeing ads.
