Are you a blogger who wants to make money online but isn’t sure where to begin? Or have you been blogging for some time but struggle to secure sponsored partnerships?

Sponsored blog posts and paid social campaigns can feel intimidating to many bloggers, whether new or experienced.

How much should I charge? How do I approach brands? What are the rules and legal requirements?

There are a lot of questions surrounding sponsored content.

That’s understandable — most bloggers want to monetize their work, but many don’t know how to get started or how to create a repeatable, profitable approach.

Making Sense of Sponsored Posts is a step-by-step course designed to help you build a sustainable sponsored-posts strategy. It covers everything involved in working with brands, from outreach and negotiation to ethics and disclosure.

The course is designed to make sponsored partnerships profitable. You’ll learn a framework you can use from your first paid post through long-term brand collaborations, with lessons that remain useful as your blog and audience grow.

If you’re not earning money through sponsored posts, you could be leaving income on the table.

Bloggers and online creators can promote products they genuinely believe in while earning meaningful income from sponsored partnerships. Done right, these opportunities let you monetize your influence without compromising trust.

I launched Making Sense of Cents in August 2011 at age 22 as a personal journal about my finances, with no expectation of earning money from blogging.

About six months later a fellow blogger introduced me to an advertiser and I earned my first $100 from an ad. It wasn’t a huge amount relative to the time I’d invested, but it proved that blogging could generate income and was incredibly motivating.

After that initial payment my blogging revenue accelerated.

Today I charge an average of about $5,000 per sponsored post, and my sponsored partnerships bring in roughly $10,000 to $20,000 per month.

These posts don’t consume excessive time — I typically spend under 10 hours per month managing sponsored partnerships, including writing, publishing, promotion, and upkeep.

I’ve partnered with many reputable brands, enjoyed paid travel opportunities, and often have brands reaching out to collaborate.

Whether you’re just starting or have been blogging for years, this course offers a practical roadmap for developing and growing your sponsored-posts strategy.

In conversations with other bloggers, I’ve found many earn little or nothing from sponsored content, and others charge far less than their work is worth. This course is built to change that by teaching you how to price your work fairly and attract the right partners.

The modules cover every essential topic: building relationships with brands, negotiating compensation, legal and disclosure requirements, content strategies, reporting results, and long-term partnership management. You’ll get a comprehensive education on how sponsored posts work and how to make them a reliable revenue stream.
