That breadth makes it likely you’ll find a deal for many purchases on the site. I spent a good deal of time testing Dealspotr and was surprised I hadn’t discovered it earlier — it would have helped me save much more when shopping online in the past.
How does Dealspotr compare to other deal websites?
If you hate wasting time like I do, you’ve probably been frustrated by coupon sites that list expired or inaccurate codes. On many coupon websites, codes are reported as working even when they aren’t, which makes hunting for valid discounts feel like a waste of time.
Dealspotr is different. In my experience, it has more codes and noticeably fewer expired listings than sites like RetailMeNot, Coupons.com, or Groupon. The active community validates and invalidates deals quickly, so you can usually tell at a glance whether a code is likely to work.

How do I find a coupon code?
I always check for a coupon code before completing an online purchase — even a small discount is worth it. These days, searching for codes is easier than ever.
For example, my husband needed a PFD from West Marine and the total was a few hundred dollars. I wanted to save whatever I could, so I first checked a popular coupon site and found only general sales — no specific code for the PFD.

How do I share a deal?
To share a deal, go to the “Post a Deal” section when logged in (the posting form is simple to use). The tool guides you through the details needed to help others redeem the offer. Posting deals earns you points that can be redeemed for gift cards.
If a deal already exists on the site, you can validate it instead of reposting. Validation is easy and helpful: you confirm whether a deal works and provide feedback so other shoppers know its status.

I found a deal for socks and decided to test it. After visiting the merchant site and confirming the discount applied at checkout, I validated the deal on Dealspotr so other members would know it works.
I then uploaded a screenshot and completed the validation steps. This helps the community quickly identify reliable codes and increases the overall quality of listings.

Not every listed deal is valid. I tested a listing that claimed a Yeti bag was deeply discounted; the listing showed a low likelihood of working. After following the link and confirming the price was not as claimed, I returned to Dealspotr and invalidated the deal, adding a screenshot and notes describing what happened. This prevents others from wasting time on the same listing.

Dealspotr partners with bloggers and influencers to help grow their audiences. Members in the Influencer Network receive enhanced rewards, access to an affiliate program, and greater visibility on the platform.
Dealspotr has added merchant accounts for brands such as DKNY, GearBest, and Away Travel. These merchant partnerships are a step toward an Open Brand / Influencer Marketplace, where brands will post paid campaigns that influencers can browse and join based on topic, brand, or interest.
